Meet Megan Clowers, OMD
Sierra Acupuncture Clinic is led by Megan Clowers, OMD, a Doctor of Oriental Medicine dedicated to comprehensive, personalized care for the Reno community. Megan brings a thoughtful, whole-person approach to every visit — combining acupuncture, cupping therapy, and nutrition guidance to help patients feel better and stay well.
Megan Clowers is a Nevada native with a deep commitment to integrative, whole-person health care. She has practiced acupuncture since 2014, earning her training at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. In addition to her acupuncture practice, Megan is completing a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
This unique combination of Eastern and Western medical training allows Megan to bring a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to patient care — blending the diagnostic and clinical rigor of conventional medicine with the holistic, preventive principles of acupuncture and nutrition. Rooted in her home state of Nevada, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting health through personalized, integrative treatment plans.

Please note: we do not accept insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. However, superbills are available upon request if you'd like to submit for reimbursement through your insurance provider.
